The SX2000 is a lovely jewel of an audio recorder. If it had been shipping when I bought my Zoom H1, I would have gladly paid twice the price of the Sony for one overwhelming reason (beyond its audio quality, design, feel, and real buttons): Sony's REC Remote smartphone app. REC Remote connects quickly and painlessly to the SX2000 via Bluetooth, at which point you can monitor and control it remotely. With this capability, it can double as a lav/bodypack system with positive visual confirmation (via the audio meters), a trick the eagerly anticipated TASCAM DR-10L doesn't do. It doesn't sound any better than the Zoom H1, but it's a heckuva lot more convenient and a vastly better tactile experience.
